Re: Police confiscate windscreen wipers

So that's Pissouri police and Limassol police now taking action against these men.
Maybe if people report incidents to Paphos police they will also be deterred from attempting to sell windscreen wipers.

Re: Turning into Lidl's

If you all just treat it as a single lane, and let drivers out of the carpark before turning into it, you will find your lives are a lot easier. Exactly Dominic I wish people would operate in a similar way when in a store and the lift doors open. So much easier to let people exit the lift and move ...

Re: State Pension

Response to Jeba

Are the contributions depending on your income, or is everyone paying the same?

The amount of National Insurance you pay depends on your employment status and how much you earn.

Re: State Pension

I think that's a full pension, which you get if you have made NI contributions all your life. I think the exact figure is 45 years though I could be wrong. 35 Years to get the full UK state pension. A minimum of 10 years NI contributions in order to qualify for the minimum payment. 10 - 35 Years gi...

Re: Survive on 1,000euros a week in Cyprus?

Most couples I know have a UK state pension and/or a private pension (or in some cases 2-3) and they are very comfortable with an income of €2,500 - €4,000 per month and most of them pay rent.
Others are content with living on the UK state pension.
Depends on lifestyle choices.
