Re: Is Trump mentally ill?

In case anyone hasn't worked out why I have no intention of posting further on this forum I'll leave it to Katie Hopkins. I am genuinely embarrassed to have ever been involved or associated with such a bunch of hysterical fish wives as have been seen on this forum on this topic  I'll now leave...

Re: Is Trump mentally ill?

Oh dear- the petition to allow Trump a state visit has exceed the 100,000 required to initiate a debate in Parliament who will also have to debate the petition to not allow him a state visit. Don't any of you half wits who click on to any and all of this nonsense realise all you are doing is wasting...

Re: Quebec Mosque shooting suspect was a fan of Donald Trump and Marine le Pen

World is full of nutters I'm afraid -I'll bet Anders Brevik would have been a fan of similar people (maybe not Katy Perry granted) and he ran amok shooting white Christians. You can't judge third parties by whether nutters like or dislike them , and that is what this guy is- a nutter

Re: Pound/ Euro

Would have been the 70's my dad started buying them. My dad liked Datsun/Nissan estate cars (got his golf clubs in the back) and in the 90's my Mum bought a lot of Hondas (she opted for a Prelude 2.2 vtec over a Merc convertible once and still rates it as the best car she has ever driven) . My Dad s...

Re: Pound/ Euro

When Japanese cars first came to Europe/UK they were a revelation. the comparable British stuff was appalling, the European stuff not much better (except the exclusive top of the range Mercs)

It was the Japanese that dragged up the European standards, not the other way round

Re: Trump gets tough on terrorists

I agree about Saudi and Turkey, but they are US allies and tackling terror does involve their assistance- keep your friends close and your enemies closer and all that. What these countries have in common is that they are pretty much war torn, they have probably lost much of the documentation regardi...

Re: Trump gets tough on terrorists

No doubt about that, but you play the hand you've got. No one can honestly say that the current European migration crisis doesn't have anything to do with the current European terrorist crisis If Merkel could have it all over again and have a European Union that could actually protect it's borders (...

Re: Pound/ Euro

My Dad loved Japanese cars and I have bought a couple in my time and currently run a couple of Toyotas- love my Hi Lux and wife loves her AYGO I have also bought European cars in the past - Mercs and Porsches mainly and they were also great, but I have also contract hired French vans for the busines...

Re: Latest Leaders Meeting a Flop

It is because it's keeping that side of the economy from collapsing (and taking a lot of other bits with it) that the EU is tolerating what is going on The 300K sell was a complete scam- that just buys residency, which many Chinese have been mislead into thinking was citizenship, but that con has ru...

Re: Latest Leaders Meeting a Flop

No - but it doesn't mean to say it always has to be. I live here very well and at times I am embarrassed about how easy my life is compared to many who have worked a lot harder than I ever did but can't appreciate the quality of life this country has to offer as readily as I can Regardless of the et...

I love Cyprus and it's people, it's the people running it that ruin it , primarily to the detriment of their own less affluent countrymen

Re: Latest Leaders Meeting a Flop

Oh dear. The passport selling scheme in Cyprus is a jobs for the boys carve up It raises huge amounts of money but does not create real employment and does not reduce the national debt- it simply keeps the usual suspects in new Mercs and other than reinforcing Cyprus' status as a cash strapped banan...

Re: Is Trump mentally ill?

You could theoretically question the sanity of anyone who craves power, but he is no less sane than Merkel and certainly doesn't have as much Muslim blood on his hands as Bush and Blair

They've kicked the Greek can so far down the road so many times it's not even a can any more- it just a few bits of rusty tin held together by a threadbare paper wrapper (apologies to Andy Warhol)

Re: Trump gets tough on terrorists

Even if you took everything from, say 2000, then death by American will still win by a country mile. That's their choice. You won't get Americans to give up their guns, you will get Americans to rally round a perceived threat to their country. Right or wrong that is the way they see it. There is no...

Re: Trump gets tough on terrorists

It's more a case of once too often surely  That 10 year average says "since 9/11"- which has obviously been omitted because it changes the stats totally The terror threat has been ramped up hugely since 9/11 as well (or do you think the world is currently a safer place ?) Maybe the A...
