On page 3 you referred to the statue of a man with a gun and a book. I asked a local about it and he said if was in memory of a 19yr old EOKA fighter who died at the hands of the British. I haven't been able to verify this.

Your last photo showed the scaffolding above Mavris Leather and the mural. The mural should be safe as the scaffolding was put up to repair the roof and stop water leakage into what was a ladies hairdressers on the main road. The hairdressers had to move onto the route towards The Muse restaurant.

So pleased you were able to show the Sykaminia cafe opposite Cafe Nero as it is a great place, the oldest cafe in Paphos Town, and only 150 yards from our place at the rear of the Post Office. Can anyone recommend a person/company to fit an external shutter or similar? We have a first floor apartment balcony with over hang above. We want to add privacy to one side that overlooks neighbouring apartment block. Thinking of metal fixings with either roller shutter or blind. Thanks
