Re: Very hot the next days...
Max, one day later and a perfect day for solar production. Solar edge graph a perfect upwards and downwards curve. Sky not perfectly clear yet and we did not reach our peak of 5kw. Peak production 1:15pm at 4.6kw. PV panels probably dusty from last nights light rain. Today's production, 36.4kwh. In ...

Re: Very hot the next days...
Very strange day today in Anarita. Cloud cover all day and we only made 7.33kwh on our pv system, compared to 18.3kwh in Wales. (only the second time we have made more in Wales than Cyprus) We have also had very light rain from lunchtime onwards, just a constant few spots, which is very unusual for ...

Re: For Louise, Posting with a picture.
In Cycleband, now Igora, Greenalls gin, I think it is around 11 or 12 euros per litre. It is slightly cheaper than the Gordons white bottle. I'll let you know next time we go. Whitley Neil rhubarb and ginger, in a 70cl bottle, with a free gin glass, is 20.85 euros. Igora also had Majorca gin, Palmbr...

Now click on add the file, at the bottom of the page. Then move cursor to where you want the picture to be usi...

Re: How to insert picture
I still use Pix Resizer. Download app for windows. Open app. Click on work with one file. Load picture. Chose size for loading into Paphos Life. Save picture. (I save mine to a folder I have made in Pictures called resized.)Then you are able to insert the picture into your post and make comments und...

At least it has been dry and we have not had any dirty rain. However, lots of dust in the pool.

Re: Cyprus calls for applications from those hit by 2013 Haircut
Exactly Trev. Luckily, we didn't have much money in our BOC account at the time of the haircut, but if it had been a few years earlier, when we were paying for our house, we would have been affected.

Lets hope they get full compensation. It affected a few people who had proceeds from house sales taken, before they were transferred to the UK.

Re: MUKW Bio Metric application
We did the original yellow slip, MEU1 ourselves. However, this time we have gone through an agent, partly because documents required seem to be changing. We now need repatriation insurance, which we got through Atlantic. We're using Peter Savvas. Luckily our marriage certificate had been Apostilised...

Glad that you are OK Max. Try to ignore negative comments. I know it's difficult and I stopped mentioning a certain firm in my posts for a time. As for the mayor and deputy, both have done a brilliant job in modernising Paphos and bringing it into the 21st century and it cleaner than ever.

I'm going into Greenair some time next week so will ask if he's OK. Great that people on here notice if a regular poster has been absent for a while.

Re: Ablation of the hip
Dr Aspros at Evangelimos did Rosemary's knee replacement. Would recommend him. He also took xrays of Rosemary's back and said she would need to see a neuro surgeon, but did say he would not recommend back surgery, but treat with physio instead. We know he is a really good surgeeon. Locals will tell ...

Re: Love Rat
We enjoyed it, even though I made negative comments after watching the first episode. Sally Lindsey was brilliant, and typical of a northener. She is in a couple more Channel 5 series, which we will watch. We have also enjoyed the Madame Blanc series. Good, light entertainment.

Not the best script ever but people do get conned whilst on holiday, as they leave their brains at home. When we were having our propery problems, and were members of a property action group, we heard some horror stories including cases where properties have been double sold, or the developer has cl...

We topped up both of our phones with €5 because of the new, 6 month rule, but both are now showing expiry dates for 12 months. Thanks JB for the *110# and then 'green phone/dial.

Re: Net Metering App
Ignore the 181 and 281 readings. I keep an exel spreadsheet of our consumption and production, and how much I've exported to the grid. For example, on 23/1 the meter reading on 182 was 8497.1. 24 hours later it was 8507.8.Therefore I had consumed 10.7 Kwh through the meter. The same period, the mete...

Re: Net Metering App
Express Pete. Next time your app is showing zero production, see if you are exporting anything to the grid. Turn off any appliances that use huge amounts of electric, such as ovens, aircon etc and take an export meter reading. Then, after a couple of hours of zero production on your app, take anothe...

Re: Net Metering App
We have a Solar Edge Invertor and use the Solar Edge App, both in the UK and in Cyprus. In Cyprus, our app will show zero production. If you go outside to the Invertor it also shows zero production and showing a fault. It tries to connect to the grid and goes through a countdown, firstly 60 seconds,...

EAC and strange meter readings.
Sorry, ignore what I wrote before. I forgot to take readings the previous day. Sorry. Another senior moment.
