Arriving in Paphos
When you arrive at Paphos Airport, you can either take the motorway to your destination, or you can use the scenic route. We prefer the latter, and normally find ourselves on the B6 unless we are in a particular hurry. In this particular instance, we drive to Central Paphos to show you how to get to...

Sandy Beach Area
Sandy Beach in Lemba is a popular location for sunbathers and swimmers alike. Don't ignore the riptide warnings though, and only swim when a lifeguard is present. In this film we start at Azia Resort and fly over the beach, before heading up the coastline to the area around Vardas Beach. https://www...

Paphos Harbour Walk
Concluding our recent stroll around Kato Paphos we find ourselves at the Harbour. And guess what? The carbunkles are no longer monstrous! They have been transformed into seating areas for Ocean Basket, and are now open. Well, one of them is. They might want some clips to keep the tablecloths in plac...

Re: Coral Bay Strip - Final Report
And the film...
This is the film that goes with the final report on Coral Bay. See what Demetris and Mr Pantelidis had to say on how the project went.

Coral Bay Strip - Final Report
Coral Bay Strip is now officially open. The President himself declared it as such, and shops and restaurants alike opened to greet the waiting tourists. In our final article on the renovation work, we visit once again the two Engineers who have kept us updated throughout the course of the project. S...

Palaipafos Archaeological Park
Before Paphos was at its current location it was sited where you will now find Kouklia. Indeed, there are probably remains bigger than the main Paphos Archaeological Park under the fields in the surrounding countryside, waiting to be discovered. If you would like to see what they have already found,...

Re: Devil
Oh dear, that is sad news. Thanks Steve for doing the detective work. Just a shame it had to have such a sad outcome. Still, he got to tell his story before he passed. He contacted me in March asking for permission to republish it on a new blog he was starting. I of course said yes, but unfortunatel...

Kato Paphos Renovations Update - May 24th 2024
In today's film we see that they are still hard at work along Poseidonos Avenue. The Hotel side is finished but you still have to "walk the plank" to navigate your way to some of the bars and shops on the other side. They are making progress though. Outside Pingouinos they were doing a lot...

Paphos Harbour
Nothing beats Paphos Harbour on a sunny day. The seagulls are getting less territorial too, so our drone was able to survey the scene relatively unmolested, apart from a nosey crow. Ocean Basket is coming on a treat!

Coral Bay Strip Opened By President!
Today Coral Bay Strip revealed itself to the waiting public for the first time since being renovated. I was there with the camera to take in the scene. Amazingly, all the trees had arrived since Thursday. There is still a bit of landscaping to finish and the odd snag, but it was a pleasure to walk u...

A Walk Down Bar Street
On my way to report on the ongoing renovation of Poseidonos Avenue, I walked up bar Street to see how that was looking. Why not see for yourself?

I was down at the Sea Front today and adjusted the brightness again. Last time I was wearing sunglasses so the image was a bit bright.
Looks nicer now. This was from this evening.

Central and Kato Paphos
We start today's film at the Lidl Roundabout, and drive down the B7 to Kennedy Square. From there we head to Kings Avenue Mall and the Sea Front before driving through Kato Paphos and up Bar Street. We double back on ourselves to take a quick look at Poseidonos Avenue, before driving past Fabrica Hi...

Re: Devil
Hmmm, it could be a mundane reason. Without giving his private email address away, it was uncommon and not one of the usual providers (hotmail etc). He obviously had his own domain registered. That domain is now available. This would indicate that he stopped renewing it. Every domain name, like paph...
