Paphos Boardwalk Stroll

It's time to get my walking shoes back on and go for a stroll along Paphos Promenade. We shall start at the Antasia Beach Bar above SODAP Beach and wander down to Paphos Sea Front. Along the way we shall pass four blue flag beaches and four wonderful hotels: The Amavi, Alexander the Great, Almyra an...

A Walk Along Paphos Sea Front At Night

Time for another Night Time Stroll along Paphos Sea Front and Harbour. It is getting busier now, as the holiday season ramps up. Also, in order to do a night film, I have to be out later than 5:30PM now, so more people are out having their tea now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgZTzDnV2jk   papho...

Kato Paphos At Sunset - in Widescreen 4K!

Yesterday I set off to the Harbour to get some more Kalispera shots for our Facebook Page. As the sun was about to set I thought it would be nice to record the scene with our nice new lens. So in today's film we start on the way to Moutallos Cliffs, and drive down them to the Coast Road. Then we hea...

Apparently it looks very nice at night too. I shall have to pay it a visit when I am next out doing my kalispera shots.

Re: First crematorium in Cyprus to open in Paphos by 2026

Unfortunately it is fairly standard practice in Cyprus for a business idea to be duplicated. Once in Giolou there was a coffee shop. Now how many are there? You will see a similar pattern with petrol stations. It is a lazy practice that stifles genuine innovation.

The New Sculpture At Tala Roundabout

A roundabout in Tala has undergone a major transformation. Yiota Ioannidou, the artist responsible for many of Paphos' most beloved landmarks, has performed her magic again, and created a new masterpiece in the centre of the junction. The other day we went down for a closer look. Read the article an...

The Tala Roundabout Sculpture By Yiota Ioannidou

Yiota Ioannidou is the artist responsible for many of Paphos' most beloved landmarks, including the Little Fisherman at the Sea Front and the Modern Aphrodite at the Harbour. She has recently been at it again and one of Tala's roundabouts is now decorated with her amazing work. Let's take a quick lo...

Re: Getting to Viklari - Last Castle

We recently showed you how to drive to Viklari. This enabled you to see for yourself what the route was like and whether it was ok for your car. We also did the drive using the 360 camera, so now you can fully appreciate the scenery along the way.

Amazing Sundowner Sites

Recently there have been some upheavals along the Coast of Paphos. The Sea You Beach Bar is no more, and Oniros and Agios Georgios are being refurbished. So where can you go if you want to enjoy a relaxing drink while watching the sun set? Quite a few places, as it happens. The other day we went out...

In today's film we start in Tala and head towards Paphos. Then we dive through Emba to Chloraka. We do a quick loop there with the new lens and drive past Lemba Art College. We finish on the way to Chloraka Green Point at the Gateway to Paphos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9bkn5pwl0s   tala-emba...

Koili, Kamares and Tala

I figured the best way to show off the new camera lens was to do a nice drive that takes in lots of panoramic views of Paphos and the surrounding village. So we start in Koili and have a quick tour there, before heading down the scenic route to Kamares Village. From there we wind our way to Tala. ht...

Re: Happy St George's Day

The only St George's Day events I can ever remember were as a child. I seem to recall that the cubs and scouts had the option for turning out at the local Church in full dress. I only know when the day occurs because it the also the dob of our eldest son. I don't know when St Andrew's Day or St Davi...

Paphos To Coral Bay

Let's get a real look at the journey between Paphos and Coral Bay, through the gorgeous eyes of our new lens. Now you can see the route like you've never seen it before. Starting at Kings Avenue Mall, we drive along the Coast Road through Chloraka. Then we go past Sandy Bay and get a good look at wh...
