Re: Speculation of royal death at palace
I have split this topic. If you want to argue about Prince Philip, use the thread in the pit. I tried to move some more posts to that thread today, and have no idea where they have ended up. So if you are reading a thread about a golf ball or something and all of a sudden a rant about Prince Philip...

Re: Cost of fuel in the UK
I don't know if you already have a property in Cyprus Anne,if you do you will probably know that although the winter is short it can be pretty cold and houses difficult to heat properly due to the lack of insulation. In our last house we did not have ch and used to dread going to the toilet!! Gas c...

Re: Speculation of royal death at palace

It's people like you who put the rest of us off writing on here, yes I know we can all have our opinions but some mo...

Re: Cost of fuel in the UK
We also have a 4 bed house in the UK, we pay £70 to SSE for gas and £40 a month to them for electricity, we had a debit of £280 this month for gas but £28 credit for the electricity so we've spent over £1000 just on gas this last year. Mind I have Reynauds so need to keep warm in the winter, roll on...

"Do you mean, as the brexiteers regard any negative post Brexit posts?" No axe to grind here whatsoever Jim. I just meant that I am so sick and fed up of continual cut n pastes of every single news item which MAY, JUST,POSSIBLY, PERHAPS point towards the horrendous decline the U.K. JUST M...

Re: Refuted insurance claim
We had a claim with Insure My Villa purchased through Topquotes. I have nothing good to say about this insurance company. The claim was handled disgracefully and entirely to their advantage. The main part of the claim was offered as an amount on a retailer charge card. When I objected and said I wo...

Re: Refuted insurance claim
Good afternoon, has anyone insured their villa with Top Quotes using 'Insure My Villa' insurers and had an insurance claim refuted? We only found out last week that the insurers do not have a loss adjuster either in the country or not able to visit within a week of the claim being made. I did make ...
