It has been announced that this year's Polemi Tulip Festival will be held on March 31st, at 11:30AM (Thanks Ian!)
Like last year, it will be held in the Main Square.
The festival is a highlight of the local calendar and draws crowds of locals and tourists alike. For years, Polemi has been known as the Tulip Village, owing to the abundance of tulips that grow in the surrounding fields. Modern farming techniques have seen a decline in the tulips in recent years, leading to set fields being set aside exclusively for the protection of the remaining flowers.
