The little building near the beginning of the blog, set beside 2 electricity poles, is probably the housing for the main electricity meter.

All I know was that I got covered in prickles getting there and when I got there there was nothing to see.

The bigger lungeing "room" would have been used when the trainer was in the middle using a lunge line. The smaller concrete one looks like what is known as a horse walker where the horse walks between the walls. Very interesting photos.

Very interesting..........what a total waste to see it abandoned........Dominic have you any idea what happened here
It would be a fabulous place for equine agrotourism.........but when vacated horse riding was not so popular in Cyprus as in the last 10 years

I have no idea what happened. The ranch was owned by Maximos Holdings. Indeed, you can still rent it according to the website.

I did try contacting Maximos Holdings but I never got a reply back. I didn't want to pry too much, because if your venture has gone tits up you probably wouldn't appreciate somebody asking you lots of questions about it.

Thanks Dominic........I've just looked at the website
It's a fascinating place especially for me having owned horses......it's just so sad seeing it just left to rot
I must say your blogs are amazing it's so fabulous to see an expat take the time to discover off beat places and share their amazing photos and adventures of this beautiful island........thank you
