So in between keeping an eye on what's been going on down at our ferry jetty after the skulduggery and ructions preceding our local elections, I've spent the majority of my days for the last 3 weeks following 2 weeks in bed sitting in the conservatory bird watching in the back garden.
These from last Tuesday and Thursday at the ferry jetty:
Looking up the River Wyre towards Freeport at Fleetwood

A rather large trench and many old cobblestones removed - being replaced by concrete. I doubt the cobblestones will make a further appearance!

Flowers on the incoming tide:

Yes, they were taking out the jet ski's!!!

From the conservatory:
Goldfinches in a row. We now have 6 which all tend to arrive together at a certain time of the day but difficult to capture them all at once.

Collared Dove trying to work out how to reach the sunflower hearts.

Safety in numbers!

Here's looking at you (Feral Pigeon):

And my favourite from yesterday, this Blackbird standing to attention:

Still trying to capture the two Robins together although mostly, they do tend to stay separate from each other even though they visit at the same time. I think it's our Ruby and Indie because one is rather round and chubby and the other is much slimmer.
Hope everyone is okay over there in Cyprus!
I've been trying to keep up but have spent most of my viewing from my mobile phone and it's not so easy to manipulate.
