A fungus, like a mushroom ?

No idea, max.

Looks like a tube of plastic padding has gone bang.

Actually it looks like one of the rocks in that cave I blogged about.

And the winner is: Trev. How on earth did you know that?

Growing out of the pottery pipe which was the home of a black snake in the past, so the snake has to find another one next to it....

My first thought was a fungus, but thought that was too obvious and assumed it was a rare geological formation.
But, am I alone in finding the apparent teeth of the black snake really, really disturbing?

What Teeth, is it not just the markings on the face, mind you maybe some on the inside.
