My Wife & I went up to the opening ceremony last night which we thoroughly enjoyed. I took a raft of photos but will apologise in advance for the quality of some of them ........ it was almost impossible to get some shots without the backs of peoples heads in them!
I will try to keep it to as few posts as possible
This is a pic of the pedestrian area opposite Kennedy Sq just after the sun had gone down, things starting to build up

On our walk round we came across this choir opposite the Municipal gardens singing amongst other things Vivaldi's Gloria ........... excellent
