Does anybody know anywhere that sells big tubs (bigger than 225g) of Lurpak Spreadable Butter? In the UK they were everywhere but we can only find the little tubs in Cyprus.

Papantoniou Supermarkets sell them but Alpha Mega does not. Alpha Mega has various varieties of Lurpak spreadable but only ever in the small size whereas Paps sell the 500g size as well.

And a whopping €6 something a tub. So wait for the special offers as Cyprusgrump says as they reduce them up to 40%.
I've never tried this stuff.... I used to like Lurpak (many years ago) but worry now it may be a little too salty for my taste. I've gone off salty foods and hubby has to cook without adding it or only just a smidgeon depending on what he's cooking.
We started using I Can't Believe It's Not Butter when we were in Cyprus so we've stuck with that since we came back to UK.
However, I just did a price comparison here in UK at MySupermarket (uk website) and it gives me the cost of 500g of Lightly Salted at £3.25p so, is there anyone who has tried the one we use who can tell me if it's worth the switch?
Otherwise, I may just have to sneak a small tub in the trolley one day when my other half is looking the other way!

It's available salted or unsalted. Sad person that I am for noticing!
Ah, but that's my problem..... I used to like Lurpak for the salty taste it had - but now, I find salt can be just too 'erm "salty" for my tastebuds. So just how salty is the "salty" one, is what I need to know?
Otherwise, there's no point buying Lurkpak (my opinion) if there's no salt..... hope you get my drift on that one!
