This sculpture is on the prom at Prestatyn. It marks the end of the Offah's Dyke Path.

From the car park at the end of the prom at Prestatyn, by the sailing club, you come out of the car park and follow the bike track signs. They take you passed Pontins, location of the On the Buses film, and then left, down a quiet residential road, then over the golf links and dunes to Presthaven Sands Caravan site, which you ride through.

Finally, a short ride over a boardwalk and you are at Talacre. My favourite bugbear, the cafe closes at 3:30pm as it is now winter hours but at least the pub next door serves coffee, but no cake.

From Talacre it is a short ride across a dyke to Point of Ayr Colliery. The locals are still very proud of working there and we spoke to two men who told us a lot about the history of the site. In Ffynnongroyw the Farmer's Arms has newspaper articles displayed about the colliery, the miner's strike and its eventual closure.

After the colliery site, you go under a bridge then along the path and across the main road to the village.
