If any of you have a Facebook account and want to see some fabulous photos that appear on a regular basis - go and join the public group there called Frozen Cypriots.

Photos there are posted by the members of the group, either their own or shared from the www of both before and after the 1974 invasion. Some lovely pieces and stories of history by family photos and generally about growing up in Cyprus.

As it is a 'Public Group' you don't need to join to see all the photos and discussions.

You do need to be on Face Book though ;)

In the UK there were a couple of sites that let you overlay old Victorian maps over modern maps and satellite imagery.

Canary Wharf Now And Then

Is there anything similar for Cyprus?
