The Sad Demise Of The Sea You Beach Bar

A few days ago I flew the drone around Potima Bay and took some films and pictures for our website. Literally a few minutes after I published the film, Sea You Beach Bar announced they were closing. Since then there has been talk of bulldozers, so this morning I returned to the scene to assess the situation first-hand.

That's a shame, we used to go in there quite often for the Crunchy Chicken Goujons a Leon and a local G&T. Was looking forward to going this year.

Perhaps the extended car park area will be the site of the new desalination plant.

It sad as it was a great place to watch the sun go down with a G and T.
I was told that the municipality has given the site to someone else to operate, if there is anything in this time will tell.

A very popular place with locals and tourists, it will be interesting to see what happens on the site in the future

Unfortunately, due to a miscommunication with the Municipality of Pegeia, the space has been reassigned to a new operator, bringing our journey here to an end.
