what i find irritating about this kind of lazy reporting is the misrepresentation of the facts... coments like
"But the rules changed after Brexit"
give the impression that there was a change of rules... there was not.. what changed was that the UK whilst a member of the EU did not need to abide by the rule. When it chose to leave the EU then the UK lost that benefical arangement and was now subject to the same rules that applied to third countries..
Europe did not change its rules .. the UK chose to become a third country..

lol.. you are right the UK .. unlike Cyprus is in Europe.. and Cyprus unlike the UK is in the EU
