Excitement at Troodos peak?

Post by cyprusmax47 »

I really wonder what the excitement for so many people is on a Sunday afternoon to walk in that snow slush...
There are more people then in the past week, when it was fresh snow and sunny.

On the other hand it is perhaps only me as I don't like snow and cold foggy conditions :)

Agree with you! I don't see any reason to go there. It must have been cold, slushy/muddy and probably slippery as well. Also too foggy to see any views.

Probably some don't bother to check the weather forecast!

It's nice to see even a bit of snow once a winter, well for me anyway. It makes a nice change.

When we had the good layer of snow it would have been too busy up there. On a good snow year you can wait till the novelty has worn off a bit, but the last 2 years have been too warm for that. A little snow can be better than no snow.

Not that I was up there last weekend. But if I had gone for a drive up the mountains that I would have passed by and had a look.
