Pissouri lies between the cities of Limassol and Paphos, and is a delightful mix of Seafront and traditional village. Set around a valley the central upper village can be quite a challenge to navigate if you are in a hurry. So take your time and enjoy the scenery. The beach itself is mainly pebbles with some sandy areas. There are a number of taverns near the jetty serving delicious food, and the village is well worth a visit. Or why not stay for a whole week?

We've just returned from our weekly trip to Pissouri where we either walk along the seafront at Pissouri Bay, or up in the hills near the hillside village.
Today we walked along a track to the seafront and turned left to explore the abandoned house at the far end of the beach (just back from the nudist beach). At some time this house must have been a holiday home but looks as if it's been abandoned since the 70's or 80's. We can't find any reference to it by googling, so we thought we ask here just in case someone knows the story........
