Hi Everyone
We started our permanent residency process in July, received an interview last week and now have our MUKW residency numbers. Just waiting for the laminated cards. Aside from the amount of information we were required to supply it was a straightforward process.
Next step is to swap our UK licences for Cyprus licences. Does anyone have any recent experience of doing this? It also looks straight forward - just turn up at the road transport department with the right documents and they take a picture and issue a paper licence until the card arrives?
Many thanks

Re: MUKW/Cyprus Driving Licence
Recently done ours. It is a straight forward process, even if the place is a bit chaotic. Go after 9.30 am, tell the guy at the desk you want to change your licence. He sends you to the door on the left, room 8. When called in they go through your documents then send you back out to get a number and wait to be called. Then get your photo taken and issued with a temporary licence. Agents and the desire of people not to queue have some people jumping ahead, but be patient and it is quite easy
