Flying from Manchester with Easyjet soon - not done so for a while

It was always from gate 8 or one of those nearby - does anyone know if it's still the same?

We always travel with just hand luggage, so no need to go to drop off. We always ask, around an hour before the flight is due to leave, at the assisted boarding area, after all the shops and just before the main bit, where they often sell the tickets to win a posh car.
