From Avakas Gorge to Agios Georgios

The normal route to Avakas Gorge, via Last Castle, is inaccessible You can still get to the restaurant, but the road from there to the gorge is closed. So there is a new route, on the other side of the valley. In this film, we drive from the Avakas Gorge Carpark along the new route, so you can see where it is, and judge for yourself how bumpy it is. From there we head to the harbour at Agios Georgios.

Thanks for sharing. I think that is one of your drives that I won't be attempting. Couldnt believe how busy it was and the red plate cars up there. I will definitely drive to the church

I was amazed at the people there and the red plates (do not drive off road insurance doesn’t cover !!!) they/we aren’t as skilled off road as you Dominic maybe in a 4x4 but I wouldn’t risk a car
Agios Georgios is a lovely little harbour have spent many an hour there
