Post by galexinda »

'So for those wishing to send Christmas mail to Cyprus from the UK here are the recently announced dates you need to know:

The last day for the International Economy Service to Cyprus is Friday, November 25th.

The last day for the International Standard including International Tracking and Signature Services to Cyprus is Thursday, December 8th.

The last day for HM Forces mail to Cyprus - (BFPO) is Monday, December 5th (Airmail to static HM Forces)'.

'The last posting dates for mail from Cyprus to the UK will be announced at a later date'.

The last I heard is that post office employees were on strike, so when is the last date? First September?

Just spotted this - at the start of the article it does state:
Royal Mail, as always, are urging customers to post all mail as early as possible as it builds up to its busiest time of year.

This year, with the threat of further disruptive industrial action looming, it's more important than ever to post early.
The dates listed are the last dates, and the next lot of strikes have been cancelled but yes post early.

Unfortunately it looks like for a while the settings have been changed on this forum, so that when a member posts a link to any
article on our site, the link is automatically changed by the software so that it will fail.

So you wouldn't have been able to see the above quote as clicking the article link that was posted wouldn't bring up the article after
it had been altered.

Thanks to the OP but given the above, it's probably best if folks don't post any links to our site, as it just looks like the site is down when it is not.

Strange but true.

Cheers

Steve
