New(ish) petrol station

Post by Paul »

I have noticed there's a new petrol station just off the motorway.
If you come off the motorway at the Konia junction and turn to Yeroskipou it's about 50 meters down on the left.
Handy to fill up before you go on the motorway.

This article mentioned that it is situated on Tombs of the Kings, not Geroskipou?

Well, I must admit that the link I posted from CM was wrong, however the Konia Petrol station is working since ca 2 years. As I live above Konia, I am driving twice a week a least down to Yeroskipou, passing this gas station, hence I know also their prices. By the way also on Google maps street view produced from Dominic one ca see the station busy 1 year ago.

I use it regularly and filled up there the other day. It was a lot cheaper than in the town. I don't think it's been there that long, I thought about 18 months.

FuelCY is a useful app for phone or tablet which shows the current price of fuel at each petrol station

Cheapest one is up by the Asprokremmos Reservoir and Diarizos Valley. Handy if you are off to the Troodos for the day.
