Euros - old version

Post by MikeTy »

Hi,

I brought some currency with me that my late father had at home. It isn’t the newer version. A couple of places recently have refused to accept it albeit the majority have been fine.

I’m correct in saying that the older Euro notes remain legal tender and those who refused to accept were in the wrong?

Go to any bank of Cyprus and see if they will exchange them for you.
