Hi
Went to theFarmyard Tavern in Kathikas and had a fabulous lunch.
Warm with a great fire which is a big bonus for me! Lovely atmosphere ,Food was delicious, had rare beef which was a real treat for me out here and the horseradish, wow was sooo hot, lovely vegetables, and puddings was delightful.
Staff was attentive and chefs made sure your lunch was a pleasure.
Will definitely be back there when we return in March.

Those ATM machines are popping up in many places, there is one in Tala, never noticed them there before our visit this time.

I wouldn't describe Kathikas as remote.

It's only been there a short while - don't know why it was put there as the bank is just across the road!

Perhaps the ATM in Tala is for the gamblers to get more money, having suffered a loss at the illegal gambling premises where the ATM is conveniently situated !

Oh I get you. You meant the ATM was remote, not the village. I misunderstood.

In 2008 I remember going to the Paradiso Hotel (on the road to Latchi) and it was an excellent Sunday Lunch. I don't know if they still do it!!

We regularly go to the Paradise Restaurant for Sunday Lunch. We have never had roast beef as
good as they serve there . And there is free entertainment.

We went to the Blue Olive, Coral Bay today. It's not on on the strip, but tucked away nearer the coast. It has just changed hands, but the new owners are following the same format with their Sunday Lunches. You can have 1,2 or 3 courses as they are charged individually. That is starters, mains include 4 roast carvery, and delicious home made desserts!
Food is good, hot and tasty!
Definitely worth trying, we enjoyed it.

Neither would I. It's a centre of food excellence as far as I'm concerned.

The Farmyard
Yiannis
Petradaki
Imogen's
To Stekki tou Panai

are all excellent.

Ah that was cleared up. They weren't saying that Kathikas was remote. They were saying that the location of the phone box within Kathikas was remote.

Yes I realised that afterwards. But I thought it might be good to mention Kathikas's excellent restaurants!
