Boris strikes again.....

Got something to share that isn't strictly related to Cyprus? Post it here.

Boris strikes again.....

Post by PhotoLady »

Good old BoJo has done it again.... opening his mouth at the wrong time!
Johnson: Difficult to say 'no' to Syria strike
Boris Johnson says it would be very difficult for the UK to refuse the US if it asked for support in another military strike on Syria.
The foreign secretary said MPs would not necessarily have a vote on any proposed joint action.

Why is this a gaff? If it is their policy surely it is prudent to mention that I the run up to an election?

In other words, Boris can engage the UK into an armed conflict, single handed, without a parliamentary say-so. Shades of Blair! North Korea may be next on his list.

Exactly. The man is an out of control buffoon....

I'll never forget his reasoning that every British pound should be spent on London - with the benefits eventually filtering to the regions....

When Scotland had it's Independence vote, I was all over the UK on business and in everywhere but the South East, people wanted rid of the London-Centric attitude of Britain.

Boris won't bolster London, with Brexit he will bleed it....

I don't know why it's difficult to say no to the yanks. Surely, you just say NO. Perhaps the UK really is the 51st state.

My thoughts exactly, we owe the USA nothing, if they want to fight Syria, let them go ahead, absolutely NO reason for our input.

Wrong thread but metal detectors are illegal in Cyprus; stiff fines and confiscation.
