Just to let those know who do use this company a letter today from them says they are suspending posting order to Cyprus.
Dear Mr
We hope you are keeping well.
We wanted to let you know that we have unfortunately had to temporarily pause deliveries to Cyprus due to current issues with our courier routes. This is something we are working on with our suppliers to rectify as soon as possible and your patience is appreciated.
Any orders already successfully placed will be despatched as normal. If you do have any enquiries about a past order please do not hesitate to get in contact with our team at customerservice@cottontraders.com
Best wishes

Re: Cotton Traders.
At least the letter says it is a temporary measure, and that it is something they are working on with our suppliers to rectify as soon as possible.
So lets hope they will be sending to Cyprus again in the not too distant future

Re: Cotton Traders.
Remember there will be import duty and VAT now too unless you order from another EU country,

Why do things have to be expensive 'Air Freight' ? Can items not go in a weekly container and be shipped here at an economical rate .. ??Happy in Cyprus wrote: ↑Tue Jan 26, 2021 10:53 am In our business we can no longer get deliveries by road from the UK, everything has to be airfreighted in at more than double the cost. That's before Customs clearance charges of €70 + VAT a shipment are applied. I cannot see things changing anytime soon, the new paperwork is far too arduous and time-consuming for one thing.
