Whisky Galore

Post by Devil »

I see the BBC putting on the remake of Whisky Galore tonight. It is a pity that they did not think about putting on the original version.

I agree but the original has been on loads of times, though watching this version now I think the old one is better. 🤪

Apart from the comedies they made some good films, like Pool of London tackling social issues,

Unfortunately, I was able to see only part of the film because my TV provider (a member of this forum) apparently had severe problems with transmitting the beginning and the end on one channel and no joy whatsoever on a different channel. His history of glitching has deteriorated considerably over the past two months. If he reads this message, I am sure he will know to whom I am referring.

Aww Brian, that is such a shame . . . . .and annoying. I can just imagine you settling down to watch this fabulous yarn yet again. Must admit, I still love the original too. ❤
