Paying Cyprus Income Tax Online

Have just completed our 2019 income tax returns on Taxisnet without a problem. They accepted our S1 registrations which was a relief but I couldn't see where to pay the tax due online. The TaxPortal site tells me the JCCSMART cannot be used but does not seem to offer an alternative.
Any advice gratefully received.

I always use bank of cyprus on line, they have a drop down box for tax payments. If you're not with B of C I would imagine all the banks offer the facility as I was told that you can no longer make payments at the tax office. Neil

You need to note how much your Gross Income was and also the Tax due and self entry that info into the appropriate box.
You still don't have to settle the amount just yet but it is entered and ready for when you do.

I am surprised that you don't have one, it is not a device it is over the net, you even need one to top up your phone. Most financial institutions use something similar to send you a OTP so you can confirm payment. I think it costs a one off payment of € 10.

A digipass can be a device , I have one from Hellenic , they call it a digipin device .

I originally had a digipass device for one of my Cyprus accounts but it was upgraded to an OTP being sent via SMS to my mobile phone number.

I managed to pay no problem with our Hellenic current account. I'm surprised BoC hadn't upgraded our 16 year old account to allow such payments.
