Indeed you completely misunderstood my message. It had to do with the comment about the better cops in UK.
Thank you for clarifying and apologies for misconstruing your comment.

As an aside, I do wish driving standards were better here, I'm not sure if that makes me a Little Englander and I care not.

Like Jimgym, I care not what others on the forum call me.. The driving standards do need tightening up..
The worst thing in my mind is the Motorcyclists speeding along and weaving in and out, and Not wearing a helmet.... But they have one..... It is on their elbow !!!!! .... Unbelievable :-)

Well you are certainly Wrong with your comments in the above post.. "Always" and "100%" What rubbish..
I have been in an accident that was my fault and admitted it to the other driver... I am sure there will be other people who have been in the same situation..

When I was unfortunate to be hit in my motors mid-drift, the lady said I stopped in the middle of a main road, and why she said she hit me, luckily I had my Dashcam on and it clearly showed the lady was the culprit, if you haven't already get a Dashcam it could save you a lot of cash.

Same here Trev, I've been careless before now, thankfully it didn't result in a bad accident. I hit the back of a taxi which stopped suddenly, and as I wasn't paying attention I put a small dent in his bumper. My fault and I apologised to the other driver. However I have been on the receiving end of some terrible driving, including the incident on Sunday.

We saw a bizarre argument like that when we first moved here. We were next to an old guy in a car, waiting at red traffic lights. Somebody rammed him from behind, then got out of their car and started yelling at him!

They were all Cypriot, and other Cypriots nearby also joined in. We just gave the old guy our phone number and indicated we could be witnesses if needed. But I couldn't believe the sheer front of the guy who crashed into them. It is one thing not to admit culpability, but to try and blame somebody else is just comical.
