The spring of the river Xeros is only ca 500 m sea level and there is no snow to melt on the way to the dam.. yet :D

Yes, its source is Paphos Forest, not the Troodos. That has always puzzled me a bit, of all the Venetian Bridges, the only one I have never seen go completely dry is Roudia. Yet between Roudia and the Asprokremmos, the water seems to vanish during most months.
