Don't you just LOVE this game. I saw a wee camera shot during the match of a Welsh supporter standing shoulder to-shoulder with an English supporter side by side and both as happy as Larry.

How good is that???

Rugger has always been "crowd-friendly" when we used to tour at Easter around UK or abroad there was always that cameraderie amongst players and spectators alike. Mrs Emgee was always a volunteer to be a "tea lady" and Ladies committee member. Ladies are well respected in Rugby circles and she even met Internationals JPR and Merv the swerve in various bars after matches. No players only bars for us.

Great game, shame I lost my shirts(s) yesterday, should have listened to Kevin.

What? Outplayed? You watched a different game to the one I watched, then. For most of the game Wales were the better team. They made four key mistakes which cost them the game, and on that basis alone I accept that England deserved the win. Marginally.
But 'outplayed'?

I have been an "armchair "supporter of Wolves for longer than I care to remember. Or as I know
them, Wolverhampton Wanderes NIL, but hey, as I tell myself every year,.it will get better. To console myself I am watching rock legend and Wolves vice-president Robert Plant on Sky Arts "Led Zeppelin Celebration. Day.". Happy days.

Rugby Clubs traditionally take away players to another part of the country or abroad at Easter to play local opponents and a great time is had by all!

You are right Wales were as good and on another day may have won. But as our coach stressed we had 5 of the A Team missing so all in all a good result given the Welsh team won the breakdown every time.

It was an excellent game, edge of the seat stuff, but sorry boyo's England were the better team on the day, that last try was beautiful to watch.

Well you won't persuade me of course. But it was Eddie Jones who said England had two spells of 20 minutes where they were the better team. My trusty calculator tells me that's half the game. And yes, your winning try was very good indeed, especially Farrell's pass; but take a look at Liam Williams' try - much tighter action in a crowded field, so it doesn't look as spectacular, but the use of the decoy run was straight out of the 'All Blacks' Guide to Imaginative Rugby'.

Maybe Wales looked good on the day & it was a fantastic game but the match stats don't actually support Wales being the better team!

I rejoice in the fact that Rugby (Union of course!) is a game which we can all appreciate without resorting to name calling and tribalism. The Wales v England game was superb - all that we expect from this noble sport. It was tense for us England supporters at times, but never beyond hope. Wales was a worthy opponent with some great skill being displayed. I'm overjoyed at England's win though...
