To get to the offices you need to go behind the shops. There are lifts taking you the second floor. It looks more like a block of flats than a government building. But they are there!

Hi Jan. Brian (M M) is reaching back into his memory banks and using a photo / map that I posted quite a while back.
But it is from Bing Maps, Birds eye view. You can get pictures like this for most of Paphos..
I added the writing

The insurance was just another beaurocratic hoop we had to jump through in the alloted timeframe. We purchased 'immigration compliant ' insurance to attain residents status and allow time to consider our real-life options. In saying that, We were pleasantly surprised to review the policy before purchase and appreciate just how much real-life cover was assured.
(P.W), Kay,
Thank you, more widespread than we thought and so useful to all us newbies, and those contemplating "the move ". Isn't a positive attitude a boon?

When we arrived, we happily took out our car insurance and home insurance with Abbeygate, and they also offered us the immigration compliant medical policy to which you refer. However, I was quite shocked when I asked if a medical was required and was told "No". Any underwriter who offers a medical insurance policy without any requirement to establish the health of the person(s) insured has got to be questionable to say the very least. If, as you say, it was only an interim solution in order to get residency, then that's fine (albeit an expensive option).David wrote: ↑Fri Jan 20, 2017 12:57 am

As always, you only get what you pay for...and of course, the measure of any insurance company is how they handle any claims.
