That's hilarious, Lloyd! Reminds of when I first ventured into Skype, and naiively asked (on another board) "how do you know if the person you want to skype is online?"

Some wag replied "you phone them to ask if they are online"

Reminds me: twice in the past week I sent emails to Cypriot customers, having promised them that I would do so.

In both cases, they phoned me the next day to ask whether I had in fact sent them the emails. I said "yes" to each. They then said, "Oh, OK thanks, I'll go and check my computer then"

Reminds me of emailing my Cypriot solicitor with some info he required. Some days later I had an indignant phone call asking why I hadn't provided the information he had requested. I pointed out that it had been sent to his email address, he asked me why, stating that they never use their email !

You couldn't make it up.
