He started very early after becoming PM. Do you remember when he sacked all his experienced older MP's? Which left him with inexperienced younger men, presumably most of them friends.
We'll probably never know whether he later regretted his hasty early actions. We have also learnt that he can be very obstinate, not heeding advice he's been given by people like his senior scientists who were trying to get him to alter course.

The handling of every aspect of the pandemic, bar the purchasing of the vaccines, has been a disaster in the UK, costing at least 40,000 extra lives.
I put it down to Johnson populating his cabinet with inexperienced people and incompetents. Not sacking Hancock being the worst atrocity.

I said Boris can't win whatever he does, as you can see I made no comment about his cabinet, or anything else. However you obviously know better
