Full English breakfast.

Post by memory man »

In Papantoniou leaflet today, they are advertising a FULL ENGLISH BREAKFAST for €2.

Sausage, bacon, egg, mushroom, tomato & beans + bread.

I presume tea or coffee will be extra.

Good value.

We had it a couple of times in the Papantoniou supermarket just down the road from where we lived.

It was okay and yes, good value.... but they did use the hot dog type sausages, which was fine by me but not to my other half's liking. (I don't like sausages very much, I spent too many years at Asda on the deli counter whilst still at school - 3 nights a week plus all day Saturday from the age of 15yrs up to starting full time work in the Civil Service at the age of 18).

I can't recall if a hot drink was included or not in the offer but definitely worth a try!

Hubby just reminded me, the offer did include orange juice and a choice of tea or coffee. That offer was €2.50

I used to work at a deli counter. It was one of my beer money jobs at university. They plonked me there without any training, and when somebody asked for Parma Ham I just cut them some slices that looked like bacon.

Got some English sausages from Paps in Geroskipou couple of weeks ago and they tasted much like Cumberland sausage which of course is English but if you're expecting what Alphamega or Lidl sell for example they are different.
