Remote for ceiling fan.

Does anyone know where to buy a Remote control for a Ceiling fan I guess it will need to be universal type..thanks

I tried to find one for my air con which was quite old. Even the ‘Universal’ type that I bought from Troodos Elec wouldn’t work. Apparently, different makes of air cons may require different models, according to what I was told.
I ended up replacing this AC instead with a modern inverter type.
