How long are you going to live?

Post by jagwheels »

Looks like another 10 years on PL for me. Great news but what a load of horse manure

If I stay in England it looks like I'm golden until age 81. Once I move to Cyprus in the next couple of months it looks like I lose 1 year of life...

Still think I'll make the move...

I would rather not know.... I shall continue to live each day as if it will be my last - just in case :-)

Why is it a load of horse manure? It's just telling you what the stats are.

I agree, you probably won't know as neither will the rest of us! As Dominic says in a later post, it's statistics & some will be above the average and some below ……………… just enjoy your life while you can is my motto!

Well I had a go and according to the stats I will live to 92 in Cyprus, likewise if I lived in the UK, 94 if I move to Singapore and 89 if I move to Palestine.
My mother lived to 97 and as I am now 86 I only have 6 more years and already live each day as if its the last I think I may have to consider joining Jules (Photolady) on the gin bottle
Firefly come on now 88 is baby age.

Oh yes Rita, I only have a gin on Friday evening as a rule and then, it's just the one and it's measured rather than hand poured 😉

If you are 115 they still reckon you've got another 3 years in you. :)

I will have another 15 years. Surprisingly it came out the same whether I was in Cyprus or the UK...
I don’t mind providing I am still in reasonable health. I would prefer euthanasia if I developed anything serious..
