All Saints Chapel at Columbia Beach Resort

Post by Dominic »

We visited here with the 360 camera a few days ago. Still looks as lovely as ever...

I may be in the minority here, but when we went inside this chapel were were struck by the to our minds garish colours. Personally I much prefer the frescoes in the lovely medaeval churches in the Troodos Mtn’s.

Excellent images with your 360 camera Dominic, specially the rotating effect where one can see much more from the certainly high quality art. I was visiting the church and the Resort last year again, and wearing sunglasses I had no problem with the colours. At least it is very light and not depressing.... Thank you, showing us the images.

As you prefer the frescoes in medieval churches, perhaps you like the ones in the latest blog from Letymbou... even when it is not in the Troodos, but close to Paphos town. :) ;) The colours are amazing in my opinion and a couple of frescoes are from the 12th century...
