Has anyone used wood briquettes for a log burning stove as advertised by the Home and Garden online shop in Nicosia. The write up sounds good and they claim to deliver various size loads islandwide.
Any comments?

There's a shop selling them near Costa's tyres.

I've used the briquettes from Home & Garden for a number of years. They are easier and cleaner to store and load on the stove than logs. They give out a similar amount of heat, if not more, as logs, and there is absolutely no waste. The cost is similar to logs, but that depends where you buy, and what kind of wood you choose. Home and Garden deliver free to my door within 2 or 3 days of ordering.

I use two, and a small amount of kindling and a firelighter just to start the Log Burner, it is quick and you get a fast heat but after that it is logs as the bricks seem to just glow and don't look like the real thing. I think Home and Garden is only online, but I am not sure. The certainly deliver.
