HIC,
I think that I recommened Janet to you . Am glad that you liked her and found her treatment for your wife good. I think that it is worth the long drive to see her in Nicosia.

My wife has been to Dr. Christakis CH. Palas, based at St. George's hospital in Pafos, for a while and finds him extremely good. He's been involved in this specialist subject for over 15yrs. Well recommended. Tel: 99-675475

There is an orthopaedic surgen who has his clinic at the GV RADIOLOGY - MRI CENTER (George Vorkas) LTD who until recently was at Paphos general.

He treated me for several problems - he is excellent. Cant remember his last name I always called him Dr Pambo.

I would highly recommend him

Lloyd, you really have to have those procedures, regret it you will not. Maybe. :D

I have the endoscopys regularly, deep joy, but they do reveal the extent of my ulcer, and prescribe the next lot of anti bios. Happy days!!

When Dr Janet was doing both these ‘procedures’ on me I was lightly sedated- I prefer it that way, But I do remember her spraying my throat with sonething to deaden the feeling of the tube going down my throat before I went to sleep. When I woke up again shortly afterwards I was back in my bed in The ward’... Then she cane to see me to tell me the results of it all.

She is both very experienced in what she does, as well as being a very kind, human sort of person with a great sense of humour.

I wasn’t brave enough to have an endoscopy and colonoscopy without a general anaesthetic.........we are very lucky these procedures are available to us.
