There are a few cycle shops in Paphos, if that helps. I really should add a section to the directory for bikes, so please everybody, tell us all your favourite bike shops.

I bought my bike from this bike shop. It was set up well with all the gears working smoothly. It came with a free check which is now due.

There are a couple up just from the main Paps. Over the weekend I shall get a Bike Shop section up on the directory.

There is a newish one on the road up to Lidl when coming from the Time Out kiosk.
There is another one near the good framing shop - that is the Ride Easy one mentioned above.
SportsDirect sells reasonable bikes - but not sure of their after service. Good selection of accessories though!

I am surprised that no one has mentioned Pentaras Motors at the edge of the old town..

SportsDirect don't do repairs, they do warranty repairs, usually by swapping bits from a good bike, the guys in there are very helpful, but they are under pressure. I bought one of their bikes, it is okay and I didn't want to spend a fortune for a bike I use 2 or 3 months a year. Cycle Sport KTM, which were near the main Paps but have moved recently http://cycle-sport-ktm.business.site/ do a lot of cycle repairs and refurbishments, so they could definitely help. When i was looking for a bike they had some lovely ones, but I couldn't justify the cost for the use it would get. But they did have a well equipped workshop and a queue of people wanting work done and they were racing through the stuff, they knew what they were doing.
Have you had a look at any YouTube videos, depending what it is you may be able to get away with a minor tweak. I have started doing all my repairs in the UK as it was getting expensive and keeping me off the road for a week or so at a time using the excellent but very busy local bike shop.

I was told by another cyclist that the bike shop in Geroskipou which is on the right hand side coming up from Debenhams, specialised in mountain bikes and had organised trips onto trails.

I’ve had my mountain bike serviced twice at KTM in the last couple of years, very good and bargain compared to UK prices.
