Re: Windrush Ooh Aah
And quite clearly, Theresa May has learned nothing during this whole debacle. The Windrush people who came to our country in our time of need, who have worked, paid taxes and contributed greatly should still expect the state to challenge their presence and prove their right to remain.
I guess that goes for every single one of us then! Better make sure your passport and paperwork is all in order, just in case....
Strange how those records disappeared at a time they might be needed. Our government seems to be getting good at destroying records conveniently....

No he isn't. You are clearly one in the same person, living in a blinkered, narrow-minded fantasy land.Loxely Man wrote: ↑Mon Apr 30, 2018 1:14 pmActually Bill is a good mate of mine we had a good laugh over this.WHL wrote: ↑Mon Apr 30, 2018 1:04 pmYou have been busy, you have the same thread running on another forum.Loxely Man wrote: ↑Mon Apr 30, 2018 12:42 pm

Instead of looking for a scapegoat, the should be looking for a solution.
I was thinking more of TM looking for a scapegoat, to ptotect her sorry a**e.

Hudswell,
First of all it is Yvette Cooper.
Secondly if Labour wanted a stronger action on the deportation of illegal immigrants then why not. It was the present government's decision to apply a deportation programme to legal immigrants (TM's own words that the Windrush immigrants are in fact legal) as an easy way out of achieving their 'targets'. People want more action on the deportation of illegal immigrants.
If you class a reasonable public opinion as 'mob rule' just because that opinion is against your choice of government then you are going down the Trump method of government by 'name-calling'.

Telling blatant porkies in a public office where you are supposed to be honourable is definitely a very good reason to go. I only wish Boris Johnson would do the same.
