Sorry if the "New Posts" and "Unread Posts" links are getting full up with new events listings. There are rather a lot of them next month, and I am trying to get them up in one day.

If it is any consolation, the process of adding them is very dull. :)

It's also a problem for me, but in a different sense. Is there any way to disable the Events section because, for me living in the sticks and unable to travel to Paphos/Limassol? I tried to find out how but I'm dim.

It's filled up 3 screens on my mobile in the space of a few hours.... I too would like to know if there's a way to disable certain parts of the forum. Let us know if you find a way please, Devil 😃

Well one solution is just to do away with the events section in the forum, and replace it with a link in the Site Links section at the top and bottom of each page. The section rarely gets used outside of the automatic posting. And if people want to know what is happening, they can go straight to the Events page.

How would people feel about that?

I am open to any other suggestions too. :)

Well, I was able to set it up so that it no longer appears in the "active topics" list.

There was a setting to remove a section from the active topics list. All I had to do was look through the list of permissions and see what looked like it might help. :)
