I'm going by the red tiled roof on the church, and plumping for Amargeti.

But I bet I'm wrong...

And here's a clue. It's not a church.

Sorry, but looking at it again, that beautiful vista seems way much higher than my old beaten tracks. Like up into Troodos foothills, perhaps?

Looks like one of Max's favourite crystal outcrops left/centre, so maybe another clue there?

No, it can't be anywhere. If you would move around our beautiful countryside, which I try with photos to attract people you easily would know the area of the pic. And if one can't move for reasons whatever, there is the chance to watch the blogs on PL and understand where we are...
For example there is not only one blog from Dominic but several about this village. The first was on Feb, 24th 2017, than 7.3., 6.8. and the last 31.8.!!

Hi Max, of course it could be ANYWHERE in the region. Having lived here for 14 years++ . We still drive out and are still discovering villages and quaint places that are tucked away. Meeting the locals and enjoying there company. A photo of a valley could be any valley. So your picture as I stated "Could be Anywhere"

It couldn't be Droushia. It couldn't be the Akamas. It couldn't be Tala. It couldn't be Episkopi.

etc etc etc

Eureka! Vretsia !!!

But what is that large red-tiled building, if it isn't a church? From Dom's 31/08/2017 blog, I'm guessing that it's the mosque.

If that's the case, then I'm sorry Dom, but in most people's eyes, a mosque IS a church, where muslims go and pray and worship their god...

Al, a mosque isn't a church. Look it up. You wouldn't call a church a mosque, so why call a mosque a church?
