MP3 Replacement

I have a much loved and used Creative Zen MP3 player but my laptop can no longer identify it and thus can no longer transfer music to it.

I have spoken to Creative and they no longer make Zens and no longer support older versions, such as mine.

Can anyone recommend a suitable replacement, but not Apple ?

Also where in Paphos and more generally Cyprus may I buy a replacement ?

I have a Sandisk Clip which has good sound, plenty of storage and is available from Public here in Cyprus.
