CL to P life

Post by Mike.1940 »

Nice to see so many people changing over in the last few days. Very sad to see C L going but this one could be "Son" of C L. Keeping same format makes it nice and simple for those of us who are not so good at using computers.

Yes I have to agree Mike. A very good start here, and hope it continues and grows and becomes as useful to new arrivals to the island as CL was to us when we were in the process of moving over. Keep it up PL
Cheers Norman.

Keeping the same format was easy. It's the default setting. :D

To me the format is different (sorry  )

In CL, the 'from' details were on the left of the message.
That made it easier to decide whether to bother reading, depending on the author!!! ;)

IIRC, there were options for pro-silver and sub-silver??

Edit - just checked .... in CL / user CP / board preferences / global settings and I can choose between sub and pro
The option is not available in PP

:?

I was really happy to be able to join this site so quickly after the disappointment of CL closing. Fingers crossed it turns out to be as successful.

I was a long standing member of CL (different user name) but didn't post that much.

I wish this site every success!

I have also transferred across, and liking the look and feel of this forum. I did try another, but found it pretty bitch, and showing a lot of delight at the demise of CL, so was not impressed. Good luck to Paphos Life and Happy New Year to All
