It is in fact

Very large waves come and fall over the rocks of the closed beach "Playa Puerto Nuevo" which is located in Vega Baja, on the north coast of Puerto Rico. The tourists and bathers stay safe and are not touched by the impressive waves that are invited on the closed beach thanks to these large limestone rocks that protect from the swell.

I had assumed it was man made. I would feel quite uneasy there. :o

As far as I can find out it is a natural phenomenon, not man-made. Unless you know better.

And yes scary. Love to see it for myself.

Look at that lady on the right-hand side in a deck chair, she looks as relaxed as you could possibly be. :)
