Alys I,ve lived in Cyprus for fifteen years.Barking dogs are a huge problem on the island,and your lucky if you live in and area where you are not bothered by them.Reporting the problem to the Mukhtar or the police more often than not will not get you any where.So there you have it.
I,ve solved my personal situation.I,ve installed two sets of double glazing in my windows.i keep the drone of a small humidifier going all night and where ear plugs.(the ear plugs are great)
Its a problem,but we can always go back to the UK.
